Apart from a handful of models (which are
unique to Japan and therefore would not interfere with sales of US or
Mexican models) Fender Japan are prevented from officially exporting to
Europe or the US. What is made in Japan stays in Japan. This is one....a

| This is a 2007- Crafted
in Japan 'S' serial. It is in excellent condition; there are a
couple of marks on the bottom inside edge and the slightest ding
imaginable on the top. Frankly it is all but invisible, but I want
you to know it is there. There is
no fret wear worth speaking of and all controls work smoothly and without crackle.
This guitar seems to have hardly been used,
and when an instrument is as good as
this, there isn't much to say about it other than I wish I could
get more!

| Acoustically the alder
body has a lovely tone and resonance. Plugged in, the US-made
Vintage pups give it a nice, full Tele sound. A new set of 10s has
been fitted and it plays nicely right up the neck. With this guitar
you have the best of both world's; Japanese build quality and
US pups.. but with a reasonable price tag.
This is a superb looking and
sounding guitar... highly recommended.
