Apart from a handful of models (which are
unique to Japan and therefore would not interfere with sales of US or
Mexican models) Fender Japan are prevented from officially exporting to
Europe or the US. What is made in Japan stays in Japan. This is what we
are missing out on.....a '71Reissue Telecaster. These are the specs:

| This is a 1999-2002 Crafted
in Japan 'Q' serial. Condition is superb, not a
photographable mark on it. There is virtually no fret
wear and all controls work smoothly and without crackle.
The natural ash finish is superb
and it has a two-piece body... very unusual, most are
three-piece.

Ash bodies make for a nice, well-defined
tone with good sustain. You can feel the notes through the body. This Tele delivers what I call an excellent
modern Tele sound, equally at home with rock or country, clean or
driven. It plays cleanly all the way up the neck... no problems at
all.
A very attractive guitar in superb condition.
Very highly recommended, the best 71 I've ever had.
