Apart from a handful of models (which are
unique to Japan and therefore would not interfere with sales of US or
Mexican models) Fender Japan are prevented from officially exporting to
Europe or the US. What is made in Japan stays in Japan. This is what we
are missing out on.....a '62 Reissue Telecaster. These are the specs:

| This is a 1995-6 Crafted
in Japan 'A' serial and is
in excellent condition. There is one tiny mark on the top and
another on the rear... so click on the thumbnail
above for a close-up. All controls work smoothly and without
noise, and there is very little fret wear. The hardware is
in good condition and tuners also work
positively and smoothly.
It comes with the original
guarantee card and a posh padded gigbag.

Comments |
| Acoustically the alder
body has a lovely tone and resonance. The US-made Texas Special pickups
are superb - no other word for it. If you want a clean sound,
you've got it. If you want to dirty it up, no problem, the Texas
Specials will deliver.
The guitar is set up with a new set
of 9s and
plays cleanly and with a good comfortable action all the way up the neck.
When an instrument is as good as
this, there is little to say!
