Apart from a handful of
models (which are unique to Japan and therefore would not interfere with
sales of US or Mexican models) the quality of Fender Japan guitars is so
high that they are prevented from officially exporting to Europe or the
US. This is what we are missing out on...... a '75

| This is a 2002-2004 Crafted
in
Japan 'Q' serial. Its condition is superb.
There are a couple of tiny dings which I've tried to photograph..
click on the thumbnails above. Yes, they are almost impossible to
see in normal conditions. There is very little fret wear and the
hardware is in excellent condition. All controls work
smoothly and without crackle.
I'm not sure that he tortoise guard
is original, but it certainly looks good.
The bass comes with a Fender
shell-case.

| What a beauty this
instrument is... fantastic. Acoustically the ash body gives this bass a lovely
tone with plenty of resonance. You can feel those notes through the
body. Plugged in the sound is big with a capital B . And, of course, you've
a wide range of tones. This is going to make someone very happy
indeed.

visual and aural presence. .... and in superb condition. |
