Apart from a handful of
models (which are unique to Japan and therefore would not interfere with
sales of US or Mexican models) the quality of Fender Japan guitars is so
high that they are prevented from officially exporting to Europe or the
US. Generally speaking, what is made in Japan stays in Japan. This is
what we are missing out on...... a Fender Japan fretless '62 Jazz
Bass.

| This is a 2002-2004 Crafted
in Japan 'Q' serial. It is in superb condition with
not a mark on it! All controls work smoothly and
without crackle and the hardware is in good condition. It has
been fitted with flatwounds and the fretboard is therefore
unmarked.

| As a guitarist, I can't
play a fretless bass the way it should be played - not that it stops me
trying. But one thing I can say for certain is that the sound this
thing makes is awesome! These alder bodied
basses loaded with US Vintage pups always sound great - this one is
no exception.
If you want a meaty sounding fretless in superb, as-new
condition... this is for you.
NOTE: it comes either with a gigbag
or with a Fender shell case... your choice.
